The Bush modus operandi.

We'll be changing that once we get out of this mess.

The Obama modus operandi.

Dig a bigger hole so this one looks insignificant.

>> Why 'cause it will help the Dems? Looks like we are finally ending the Bush recession which began in '07, the longest recession since the Great Depression.

I honestly don't give a shit about the politics of it. If Obama were doing the right things to solve the country's problems, I'd be with him.

To date, he has done nothing other than to stand back and throw money, and it clearly hasn't helped the situation, only made it worse.

One generation (ours) should NEVER, EVER take money from a future generation (our childrens)...

The Bush modus operandi.

This, of course, isn't true. While Bush did increase the national debt (not nearly so much as Obama), he did so to the benefit of future generations. At least that argument can be made amongst rational people.

You can't even make the ARGUMENT for the Obama borrowings. It is a selfish, inter-generational transfer of wealth from future generations to now, the same way Social Security and Medicare are.

It seems Democrats have a propensity for doing this.

>>> We'll be changing that once we get out of this mess.

I hope. But there is no indication we're getting out of the mess, or that there is any chance of doing so in the future.

RW, > Looks like we are finally ending the Bush recession which began in '07, the longest recession since the Great Depression.

Clever guy, that Obama.

Though busy with saving the economy and the planet, making the world like us, and even winning a Nobel Peace Prize, the guy still finds time for golf:
