Flu kills about 20,000 persons a year so, when flu VACCINE is late, it is a serious matter. This year, flu VACCINE is later than ever and the delay will cost many lives. We should be hearing criticism about this delay but we are caught up in so much patriotic fervor that ordinary concerns are drowned out.
