Hi Kevin
I've been charting spx on 5 min tick chart and one tick chart. We have had a down trend for three sessions. It just hit resistance trend at 914. 900ish looks like bottmom trend. I think will meet support around 910, maybe a bounce. I also use stochastic crossover. Do you or Brad or any others use these trends for the index trades. paper traded the spxwb at 12:38 for 7 5/8.
Thanks for any help you can give.
during writing we have bounced.

Good day Kevin and Brad---had a thought regarding your formula that you may want to check out.

Since you and Brad enjoy intra-day/very short-term trading you may want to look at whether the formula or some variant thereof can be used to with intra-day data. For example, how well would the entry and exit points work on intra-day bars--say 30 min or 60 min--for scalping.

As you know, I am not into day trading but I think it is worth some research, since you guys are so inclined. I would use the daily indicator as a filter and not trade against the daily trend when trying to do intra-day trades.

Just a thought

Hi Kevin,
At one time you also have used the FV. The futures seems like at a
discount? Have you integrated (FV) into this new techniques? I seem
to remember that for about a month to go before expiry, futures are about 3-4 pts over cash, and now the spread is less than 2. I don't
think the current interest rate made the spread this narrow?
