<< do you have a preferred stock among the DLT
resellers ... ADIC, ATLPA, OVRL, and others?>>
Haven't looked at them recently but why would I pay more for a company that sells commodity type product like libraries in a competitive field than I would pay for the proprietary driving force behind all these companies?
As far as I'm concerned, DLT is essentially a pure play on DLT since that business is worth more than, not just a small portion of Quantum stock. May be time to resurrect my letter to Quantum management. A 50 percent discount to the combined valuations of DLT and Disk business is not acceptable. If SEG destoys pricing in the disk business as its starting to look like they might, I'd hate to see it continue to infect DLT.

Load up big time...30 7/8 is way way too cheap. This sale wont last very long. I think QNTM is hurting right now because of SEG and WDC. WDC's PE is in single digits!! Pretty soon its PE will be less than the long bond yield!! APM is already there! This sector is looking mighty cheap right now. This is the place to put in some fresh money. Sector rotation will happen, and it will be big. Dont we have a price target of 50 for QNTM?? Next quarter they should blow away the estimates, and the stock will rocket like anything. I am not saying that they WILL blow away, but the estimate of 70 something cents look kinda feeble. Time to mortgage your house and buy QNTM.
