Because you made the claim I fact checked you. Virtually everybody agrees that Clinton squandered the surplus through excessive budget expansion. I checked your posts from 2000 and before. I searched for "clinton Budget" in 1997 and before, 1998, 1999 and 2000. No results were returned. Huh? Are you even following the conversation. Hell I virtually never posted about politics until after 9/11. Only thing I really remember posting about is supporting the Bush cut in the capital gains tax; trying to get people to write their congressman. I was pretty conservative back then. Try to follow the conversation.
