I keep asking myself the same thing. If you have been short for some time, when is enough profit, enough profit? If you wanted to buy this stock, but were afraid because of the downside risk, how much risk is left for a 40% grower that is going to make at least $1.00 next year?

When will people go long and the shorts cover? When the stock starts to go up - makes sense to me.

I closed my Cymer position this morning at 24 3/8 down from 26 1/2. On a previous attempt I sold this stock at 29 1/4 down from 30.

That makes a total loss of 1 5/8 which will add to my cost when I finally buy and am able to see the stock rise. But a buy and hold from 30 would have been a 6 1/2 point loss, four times larger.

I think Cymer has a fantastic future but like the old saying says, "don't fight the tape".
