Actually, David Duke and many others have a pretty good take on the big picture. Muslims don't "hate our freedom", they don't "hate the west". They do hate the US policy of backing Israel and it's terrorist policies for the past 60 years. Unfortunately, any serious discussion of the elephant in the room is considered anti-semitic hate speech.

The belief that we are even in a War on Terror rather than a War of Terror is in itself proof that propaganda works wonders.

The Taliban in Pakistan need to have their arses kicked up between their shoulder blades. However, if McCrystal says he wants boots on the ground in Afghanistan - let's do what the Pro says first, then move the resources to the alternate application as required.

Damn shame Stormin' Norman retired and Colin Powell turned politcal-wuss.
