Hello Bill, while I will tend to agree with you that this could be a consolidation phase, the stock back in the period you indicated was not trading at 50X earnings as it is today. Long term holders no doubt will benefit by holding long but for traders like myself, I play both the downside as well as the upside. MSFT came on my screens when the Barrons article pointed out that the company had made -'ve comments on its future growth. Fortunatly for me, the stock was close to the 52-week high at the high. V.K
