To: All interested CVIA thread participants!

I noticed in a previous posting that Eddie indicated that he phoned CVIA and was greeted by the electronic answering machine!

Like Eddie, I also called CVIA and also was greeted by the answering system! I think it is important to note that the message indicated that the reason for the answering system is due to the high volume of calls! I can certainly understand this --especially if one considers that it is less than three weeks ago that CVIA issued their last news release! ( Which I personnally believe attracted a lot of interest and attention!).

I am usually very difficult to reach by phone! However I am pleased to say that I did get a return call from a CVIA representative --in fact the same day that I called them !

I have a re-newed confidence ( Remember just my own opinion and speculation!--Do your own Due Dilligence!).
I tried to put myself in the remaining CVIA Managements shoes for a moment! I must say I think it would take a very responsable, confident, focussed individual or individuals, to have the character and fortitude to not only carry-on merger discussions but also follow up and respond to shareholder questions!

For strictly selfish reasons I want to see the CVIA Management spending all of their available time focussing on the merger negotiations--in efforts to get the best possible return for my investment!

At the same time ! I want to get progress up-dates!--Every minute!

I have decided ( after my recent discussion with a CVIA representative!) that I am thus far satisfied with the efforts that the CVIA Management is demonsrtating in trying to achieve a reasonable resolution / outcome for the CVIA shareholders--and tend to think that the current CVIA Management does have the interest of it's shareholders as a priority!

As a result of my personal decision I am going to try to be a little more patient! Try to wait for news releases !--Rather than phoning the CVIA offices every second day for an update!

Why? Quite simply ! In my opinion there is little or no funds remaining in CVIA of any consequence! So time is of the essence! I think a merger deal ( or at least a deal!)--needs to be done in very short order!
( Once again just my own personal thoughts and opinions!)

So that would tell me that the CVIA representative that returned my call ( And believe me it was an expensive call--very long distance and it lasted over thirty minutes!)--was more than likely paying for the call out of his own pocket! ( But that's just my guess work and opinion!)

Now that situation to me also demonstrates at least two points ( In my own opinion!)

First it once again demonsrtates a committment to it's CVIA shareholders! The person I spoke to knows I'm not going to fly to Tulsa almost 3,000 miles to track him down if he doesn't return my call! But he called anyway! I wonder why?

My second point is if the CVIA representative that I spoke to--didn't think that there was a reasonable chance of a meaningful merger-in the not to distant future! Do you think he would be motivated to return my call and spend a considerable amount of time talking to me?
( Once again just my own personal opinions and thoughts!)

I asked him a barrage of questions! And I guessed that he wasn't going to tell me anything that would or could be considered as confidential in nature!

However ( in my opinion) not once did he back away from any of my questions , was very patient and demonstrated very effective and impressive verbal communication skills!

Keeping in mind that my only contact with him has been via the telephone--I am planning to weather the storm--and try to be patient! At least until the next official news release is issued! ( Assuming that there is one!).

I told the CVIA representative that I would share the details of my discussion with him on the S.I. CVIA thread!

I also told him that I would at least mention on the CVIA thread that I would suggest unless some one has a burning specific question that they needed answered! That it might be a thought to limit our phone calls to CVIA at this time! So that the CVIA Management team could put more of their time and efforts into the merger negotiations!

So there are my personal thoughts, opinions, speculations, as a CVIA shareholder! ( Always do you own Due Diligence-and DO NOT make investment decissions on other people's opinions or reccomendations)

I will now sit back and watch from the sidelines! As I was starting to get too emotional with ( what I believe!) the mind games that I think are going on that are affecting the trading price of the stock!

My own personal opinion is that if the merger takes place the strength of the merger details/announcements will take care of itself providing the then appropriate share value!

Any thoughts / feedback would be welcomed!

I just forgot something! Here is some information that I can share on this thread that I was told by a CVIA representative during my recent phone call! And this is all he told me as specifics--Nothing more --nor--Nothing less!

Here We Go! On October 30, 1997 at 12:22 PM.---------------------

I was told that "as far as what can be discussed at this time, all that can be said is that negotiations are continuing with the potential merger companies toward a letter of intent."

Well to all! There you have it!

I will now be looking forward to the next news release! ( If we get one?)

In closing --I must remind all thread participants! I am a CVIA shareholder! I understand it to be a highly speculative and high risk scenario! In my own personal opinion I feel much more comfortable buying at the prices in the .034 to .052 cent range--then when it was trading at much higher prices with the previous management team!

Once again just my own opinion! BUYER BEWARE! ALWAYS!

Best Regards To Everyone!

Wayne J.
