Scott, I am not knowledgable or well enough informed to offer an intelligent response to the future of the nc market. I feel that Corel has a small window of opportunity and I offer these thoughts...Corel needs to: 1. Develop a nc that is quick, is "bundled" with Corel software, is very reasonably priced and has a special feature such as video. 2. Corel has to get a major player to buy on board...GM or Nortell or a US agency? 3. I agree with the current focus which explores the possible benefits of Java but embraces the Microsoft Window environment. A nc cannot succeed in isolation. 4. Corel needs to seek and expand alliances with other major players...they missed a golden opportunity with Sun..Sun has to still be a focus for Corel to ensure further Java updates...Netscape might prove to be helpful...Novell!!Who Knows! 5. Only a few will survive and Corel's reputation is poor right now...Corel has to prove itself quickly!!!otherwise scrap the nc!!!
