(but to that I would also add our sad historical support for whatever local Dictator was willing to sell us oil and 'play ball' against the 'commies', and our over-looking of the repression said local Dictators and 'strong men' levied on their own citizens as causative factors for the dislike/disdain we have previously been held in....) Still, that is a far cry from saying "Israeli terrorism and American treason caused the September 11 Attacks".
