This statement is true and absolutely hilarious. Hilarious as in one of the thematic lies that elected our current president was that we simply needed to enlist European allies and not go it alone in foreign adventures. Clearly, the fact that the Europeans were not there was due to Bush - something the magic one would fix.

Absolutely hilarious and absolutely revealing to the fraud that was Obama's campaign.

People like me on the right agree with a Leftist like Friedman for opposite reasons. We know that the Left does not have the will to stick it out there, no matter which way we go at it. So better that it turns out that the Left "lost" Afghanistan, rather than the right.
