It is interesting to speculate if those who favor socializing medicine know this or if they are lying.

I nearly added something about that to my post. That it affects overhead doesn't matter politically because the lower overhead thing is already such a big "error" that the marginal difference of adding additional auditing to it hardly matters. It would just get "errored" away along with the other overhead costs that aren't counted.
