AMD says: "It would be inappropriate to comment further on an ongoing Department of Justice investigation."

A very Enronesque statement as AMD runs for the bomb shelter.

Rest assured that every AMD member of the GloFlo deal team is soiling their shorts as they wonder which of their phone calls were caught on tape in the DOJ wire taps.

AMD says: "we don't have any more detail to discuss publicly"

You betcha!!

Note that AMD does NOT say whether it has cooperated and provided evidence in response DOJ subpoenas. Perhaps AMD cooperation was not required because the DOJ used Search Warrants and "dawn raids" to gather evidence.

AMD used to issue press release after press release about "cooperation in evidence gathering" in its antitrust case. Strange that they now feel the need for silence.
