ah. I recall skinheads being a beginning of a problem back then. there was a large fight one night when I was at the Netherworld. i was ready (my 40 year old tired self) to run to the fight, but Spyder, the doorman and my self-appointed guard, would have none of it. grrrrrrrrr. :) (he was very cute). Netherworld is goth and neighborhood whoever. some very bright goths, doing quite well in computers and whatnot, but the skinheads did not like them much. anyways... that is quite sad. why some young healthy strong young people want to hurt a street person? it makes no sense to me. what is that saying "pick on someone your own size". I do understand a panhandler can be annoying when you are walking. And for a woman, especially, feel intimdating, whether the panhandler means that or not. but that is something very apart from skinheads beating them just to beat a helpless person.
