Oh, I'm just giving David a hard time because he likes to post and not give any details. Silly. Nobody cares (what he OR I think) if there isn't a credible source or at least a theory he can share with us. And when questioned, he remains secretive. What's the point? My position is he doesn't really know anything, he's just guessing. The bragging and experienced investor stuff is a whole other chronic problem on SI.

Yeah, Zoltek told me middle of November, their latest (boy are those brief) report to shareholders suggests that the 4th quarter earnings will benefit from increased sales (capacity expansion). Even as volatile as ZOLT is, and it's always been that way, they have a history of keeping their promises. Everyone accuses them of cooking the books, issuing deceiving press releases, etc; but in the end they are pretty good about delivering.

The latest report also mentioned some the applications they're currently focussing on, such as the laminate building materials, but I'm surprised there's no mention of boat hulls. You can already buy carbon PWC hulls, but no complete boats. Right now the performance alternative to fiberglass is a partial Kevlar blend, but I would think carbon would be superior, and probably cheaper. The US is the leading pleasurecraft boatbuilder in the world (by far), so I consider this a significant opportunity.
