The MalwareBites scan of the desktop pc did find 3 bugs.. and I removed them. Will see what happens.

Not all bugs are malware. Some are just bugs. Computer tech support departments are quick to blame things on malware cause they don't know what it is.

It would be strange if he had the same malware on both computers. If one is only used for trading, then his risk is extremely low on that PC.

I have had only one malware, and that was my fault for clicking on a link in an email. All malware scans since I have been running malware software has turned up just cookies.

Now viruses, I have had quite a few of those. Lots of stories to go along with how I got them too. (Most of them caught, but some got me)
