One problem we're going to run into is every potential conservative or Republican candidate has conservatives who consider them unacceptable. A lot of people wouldn't vote for McCain. Others consider Huckabee, Romney, Palin and everyone else you can name unacceptable. Thats probably how we ended up with McCain. And it was an advantage for Obama.

Curmudgeonliness (I'll never vote for so and so) may give Obama a second term.

Although I like Sarah P, I dont see her as a viable Presidential candidate. She is refreshing and I like reading what she has to say, but Obama would cream her in an election. She has been badly damaged by the MSM and I think resigning from her governorship without finishing the job, eliminated her as a viable candidate by many, regardless of the reason.

In fact Romney and Huckabee also most likely dont have the widespread appeal to get elected. A fresh face is needed.

That Indiana governor looks interesting and possibly worth considering.
