Winning any given tournament can have a huge luck component, but winning 3 different stud tournaments in one year means that Lisandro is a pretty good stud player. pokernews.com Lisandro is not my favorite player, as he is a bully and a hot head. But the guy can play. True, there are not as many entrants in the stud tourneys as in the hold 'em, but there are more than enough to make this a major accomplishment. Meanwhile, no winner of The Main Event, since and including Chris Moneymaker, has won another bracelet in any of the events. That doesn't mean they are bad players. But it does question whether or not the guy who wins the Main Event is really a World Champion quality player.
