JFShepard, that's a nice chart, but what about the difference between the normal flu and swine flu?

Difference-Between-Cold-and-Swine-Flu-Symptoms

Excellent comparison......its exactly right.

When I got the flu, and it was the only time I've gotten, I woke up thinking I had a slight cold. Since I was really healthy and got over colds quickly, I went on to work. I was sitting in my office feeling tired......that's the last thing I remember until a co worker woke me.....I was sleeping on the floor under my desk. She felt my forehead and told me I was burning up and I should go home. My drive home was about 20 minutes. I got halfway there when I had to pull over on the freeway in my pickup......a very dangerous thing to do on LA freeways. I slept another two hours. Woke up and drove the rest of the way home. For the next 3 days, I slept 24 hours a day......only woke up to go to the bathroom. I lost nearly ten lbs. My bones ached like I was dying. It took me a week to get over it. Up to that point in my life, that's the longest I had ever been sick. I never want to get the flu again......esp. now that I have COPD.
