The malware searches the infected PC's hard drive for e-mail addresses and sends spam out to them. But it also uses some of these addresses for spoofing purposes. So if you get spam from yourself, that means someone with your e-mail address has an infected computer.

I have had emails sent out with my email address (spoofed), I usually get a message back from a server saying my message contains malware and was blocked by the recipient.

Your trading PC is at very low risk from malware. But you still need anti-virus software and some malware scanners, just to be safe. I would not be worried about your trading machine, it's fairly safe if you have the above software.

I see you are going to try and network them, now you are at greater risk of infection. If you don't need them networked, leave them alone. I don't run networks anymore on my PC's. But that's me.
