When you put that roast in the crock pot, did you add any veggies? Potato or onion, maybe? I have a roast like that in my freezer and may do that same thing. On that note, the other day I took out some soup meat from my freezer that had been in there since April, 2008. Frozen in my Food Saver shrink wrap package. It was just as fresh as the day I put it in the freezer. You really ought to put this on your Christmas list, M... you'll love it!!!
