I can agree with that... (excepting that I have absolutely no idea how many people ever migrated in that direction *from* Egypt or Trans-Jordan, or in fact if the number of people coming in were even anywhere close to the number of people going out.)

I always thought that the vast bulk of the Palestinian's increase in population (over the last several decades, and *especially* on the West Bank) was due to their much higher-then-the-Israelis' birth rate....
