We ran up to our cabin today to get it ready for the worst of winter, and passed his place.

It sure did look lonely.

I wish I'd taken a bouquet to lay down on the bank above the river at his place, but it was a last minute decision to go up. Glad we did.......it was a really pretty day. We got everything up and out of flood danger and stored all of the things that could possibly fly away in a strong wind.
