I'm not too, too familiar with the laws. I just remember reading somewhere that you need to start spending your IRAs before the age of 70 or you are fined. This is also the best way to avoid the heavy tax to heirs (except spouse)after we depart. I believe the tax on transferred IRAs is somewhere near 60% or so?
