E.C.

I have been digging into (lousy pun) Ventana,.... particularly their drill results. To me, their "La Mascota" drilling evidences a situation similar to what you describe, e.g., an ore body that, even if proven up, would be difficult to extract due to its orientation. They have been drilling from the side of the mountain, and encountering gold,.... initially at modest depth,..... but it plunges in sheets at a steep down dip, deeper into the mountain. Some good grades, but all results are announced as "down hole" (even some of the bullish analysts warn that many of the announced intercepts need to be scaled back due to intercept angle).

Personally, I can't see how the company can access the ore body without serious expense. Making things more difficult, the valley below is well populated with indigenous miners and there are significant water courses there as well.

I also wonder why the company would be in-fill drilling the same relatively modest area rather than "stepping out" along strike, especially, at this early stage.

Stock has been a rocket, moving from $0.04 last November to over $10.00 before falling back a bit to $9.00

I must be missing something. Comments?

Best,
Earlie
