How do you know this, if you don't mind my asking?

Profits,

Re: "Say it ain't so,"

Your assumption that all incremental revenue will flow directly to
bottom line profits ... It Ain't So. This is a very incorrect statement
and is not fact or "reasonable" opinion.

I find it amusing that you have chosen the "name" Profits while posting
on the AMD thread ... AMD has a very poor record of posting Profits.

BTW, do you happen to work for AMD ??

Make It So,
Yousef

Profits, AMD has not completely fixed the yield issue yet. According to an analyst report who met with AMD top management yesterday, AMD has only been able to reverse half the yield drop they experienced last qtr and are still working on the issue. The average estimate of 17 analysts for 4Q is -0.01. BTW, I am a stockholder and I am holding on for long term gains. In the short term I dont think this stock is going anywhere besides the usual market volatility.

Profits, a few minutes ago I worked up profit/loss using much more conservative numbers and they still showed a profit, Prophet (I hope) Profits.

Profits, Re:"AMD has fixed the yield issue."

There is no evidence to support this claim. 233MHz devices are simply non-existent through distribution and machines at this speed are no longer advertised at least in the Bay Area. AMD may forecast that the yields are up, but that doesn't mean they are up.
