Gus, "Until the realignment of the high-end and the desktop becomes clearer, I think one should consider limiting one's storage exposure to the RAID vendors since they represent a pure exposure to the corporate upgrade cycle." Although it isn't easy to maintain, I am heartened by the negative sentiment toward the drive vendors. Time to buy is when it is hardest to stomach. Some more gut wrenching days/weeks ahead, probably, but this too shall pass. As for the raid vendors: I just took a small speculative position in MTIC at 11 1/2. Will add more as time goes by, I think. They should benefit from the high end turmoil, as you suggest. Sam
