eddie - that strange given that the stock kept going up after they took my order.. Maybe your order was too large? They don't trust 200 contract orders <g>. Volume (114) seems fairly high for such an out of the money put. 20 contract be me by the way.

Pete

An investor I know told me in early '96 that I'd know the end of the current bull market is at hand when the market starts swinging wildly up and down hundreds of points at a clip and when a 100 point move would cease to be newsworthy. Then a 1000 or even 1500 drop in one or two days would not be impossible. Now to me up is up and down is down and the idea that the crazy moves would go both ways I discounted. But this week leads me to believe the 1000 downdraft is soon to come.

Mohan, I've been (understandibly) pondering this same question, but, unfortunately, I can't find my links to the 1929 daily charts, or they've taken them off the servers. Do you still have any? TIA

Joe
