Well, sure the AUTHOR of something written could command readers to do something... if you re-read your question it was answered clear and simple:

Q: "Do you think God commands his servants to rape virgins in the bible?"

A) <<In fact the bible is not "written by god" and is not "the word of god" >>

Can't extrapolate that far? Here's different verbage: GOD DIDN'T AUTHOR THE BIBLE. Is that more clear? No? Here: There are "NO ORDERS FROM GOD" written in the bible or any other "book".

Not at all... you have a much better context now than if I had answered "yes or no"... although I'm not sure context is important to you in most cases.

Intellectual honesty is ALL ABOUT context. That's why it's important to move beyond 'stuctural agument' issues... unless one doesn't WANT context... and truth.

Now... are you going to answer my question?
