Hank, good point. I, for one, will now completely ignore What'shisname. As for the next great short.... at 14+, I'm not sure I am convinced that it isn't still Zitel! Good luck! RB

Hank -- Totally agree. Have you looked at Biotime (BTIM)? Very appropriately for Halloween, they claim they have an artificial blood extender which will take a dominant share of a $1 billion dollar plus market. Stock rocketed from 4 7/8 to 25 1/4 (split adjusted) this year. It's a development stage company (no sales and no earnings . . . where have we heard that before?). They haven't yet applied to FDA for clearance to market the articial blood, but they do have some sort of contract with Abbott Labs. I'm guessing that any company with only 13 people (including exactly zero MD's) is going to have a tough time getting regulatory clearance and, even if they do, revenues are at least a year down the road and perhaps 1/20 of what the longs are anticipating. (BTW, there's a fairly inactive but fanatical SI thread on the stock). I'm looking to short once the stock levels out after the split. Do you have any current short suggestions? Good luck, CMason
