A an accident in those roads is sure death as there are no rescue, nor hospitals neither doctors. The brakes are a nightmare. If you hit the brakes hard, (many cars here have no brake lights and when you see them slowing you are close anmd need to brake harder than it should be) the wheels block and it swings sideways. I ABS it myself else it is trouble. As you pump the brakes quickly succession, it makes a funny noise, I discovered it is the brake pedal passing in its bushings.
