specifications for the 2005 model. Max. speed 140Km/h.
jimny.se

I got it down hill and surpassed 180Km/h its speedometer has in the dial. (air conditoning off to get all HP to move the car)

Ping took a photo as it reached 160Km/h. then I told him to move his phone camera form the fornt of the steering wheel so I braced for the bottom of the hill which has bridges that makes the car jump some times sideways

As the distance between axles is short, the car, although do not oversteers, it is very unstable since its suspention is very hard. Uneven asphalt as Angola's, can throw the car on the air and hit the ground sideways which means good bye Elmat at that speed.

A an accident in those roads is sure death as there are no rescue, nor hospitals neither doctors.
The brakes are a nightmare. If you hit the brakes hard, (many cars here have no brake lights and when you see them slowing you are close anmd need to brake harder than it should be) the wheels block and it swings sideways. I ABS it myself else it is trouble.

As you pump the brakes quickly succession, it makes a funny noise, I discovered it is the brake pedal passing in its bushings.
