taiwan province must be thought of as a true-peasant enclave of no particular significance in the backwater of civilization, backwash of history, and backyard of true sovereign, and on the front pages for far too long. taiwan non-issue has been effectively resolved, even though few know it. it is no longer a watch n brief, except as amusement to watch the losers twist, either in jail or well away from the head table. the difference between taiwan and new zealand is just the google hit counts ;0) (had to note that, couldn't let it go :0)
