Hi alanrs.... I'm not very inclined to believe swarms of SWAT teams would invade the nation or stand a chance of succeeding against an army of civilians. In fact I believe (if it ever came to that.......perish the thought) they'd find it impossible to pledge allegiance to a govt that throws their very own Constitution "under the bus" or face down the millions of military and law enforcement individuals who would no doubt stand in their way in defense of their country. I admit I have a bias towards Cohen's music. My introduction to his art was the result of a tragic event. A very dear friend died in an auto accident leaving behind a husband (dear friend also) and two small children. The husband played Cohen obsessively for several years after Jeannie's death, and I developed a strong dislike for it. Doesn't mean he isn't a very talented and unique artist, it just means I can't stand to hear him any more.
