I look at my own situation as well (Josh, too). It's been nearly 15 years since losing my wife. I never expected to let another woman into my life. I never wanted that. But, in spite of my wants, I found Shirley, who has become a very best friend, a confidant and companion. Her situation was similar to mine in that neither of us wanted an involvement again. Today, we're each other's "someone to lean on". A valuable blessing...
