Carlyle--I think it would avoid misunderstanding if you could cite exactly what it is that you are thinking of doing--# of calls that you want to sell, strike, month, premiums, objective etc. Otherwise we may be working under different assumptions.

For example you say that you sold 50 "covered calls" -- yet you own 2250 shares--so some are obviously not covered.

Carlyle, I'll help you with your WDC... and keep you out of another INTC debacle. What's your cost basis on the shares? How long have you had them and did you purchase them to hold forever or to get rich quick? Pertinent questions.
