Well, I hope you manage to beat it back and don't give it to What's Her Face. That'd be a real drag. We're having some pre-teen Halloween drama here today. Erika had these complex plans to get together with different friends, ending up at a sleepover birthday party for a friend. The friend with the party pulled a power play and said it's all or nothing. Either you come when it starts or you don't come at all. Has anyone invented a time machine that will bump me forward to 2020? I'd so much like to avoid the next few years.

Presently I'm treating it in the room right now with a beer and shot of brandy. I splurged and bought a bottle of single malt whiskey (Highland) last night. For the medicinal qualities only, of course.

Keep on getting better....I'm still coughing (productive type) since I returned last week from Palm Springs. It just makes me fatigued whenever I try to do anything constructive...housework, etc. Actually, that makes me really unhappy, because there is plenty to do, plus plenty I want to do otherwise, and am not getting either done. I'm sure you know about Nyquil...that stuff is better than most sleeping pills I've ever taken. Just a little dab, and I'm zonked.
