The young have a (lame) excuse. They've suffered more direct indoctrination by '60's radicals.

From what I've seen, the young people are simply oblivious. We have a friend of my daughter's staying with us temporarily. She was amazed when our daughter's mail in ballot showed up. She said "I'm not even registered to vote." We pointed out it's her obligation to learn about the issues and to vote. Not sure it sunk in.
