Don't panic!!!

Tidemane,

As it looks now, it may take a few quarters of solid earnings growth (which we have every reason to believe will happen) for CYMI to recover (and maybe test new highs?). Do yourself a favor and get away from the ticker for a couple of months before you get an ulcer. If you feel bad, watch what happens to the folks buying YHOO (that stock would be overvalued at $5), at least Cymer has proven it can be profitable!

I too bought in to CYMI hoping to make a quick buck but I also bought in because I feel that Cymer looks good over the next couple of years. The quick buck is out the window so now it becomes a waiting game and it could take awhile!

Just a thought to ponder everyone, I am long 1200 shares and I just
purchased 100 more at 22 7/8.

General market is being very careful, we just had a good correction
with some more downside to go. Money managers are unloading into
every little upswing and gap. Semi segment was just downgraded
and the area that most believe is the future for economic growth
in general has just gone into a period of recession or maybe even
depression. With all this uncertainty, if you were not an informed
believer like many here, of the potential for this company would you be buying in large enough volumn to drive this stock up. I would
be buying and have been Home Depot, Gap, GE, Dayton Hudson ect.
Just my opinion!
