Remember the Buddhas of Bamyan in Afghanistan that the Taliban destroyed? Many of us knew there would be trouble then…way back in early March 2001!! Any country with fanatics like the Taliban who would wantonly destroy ancient works is in deep trouble. And we all know what happened in September 2001…. The Taliban and fundamental Islam has decreed that anything that doesn't agree with their POV, should be destroyed!
