DALLAS, Nov. 6 /PRNewswire/ -- McGowen Resources Company (OTC Bulletin Board: MCGR) announced today it has successfully recompleted the Beckloff #1-27 located in Dewey County, Oklahoma. The Beckloff well, completed in the Morrow formation, is currently producing 625 mcf of gas per day and 47.5 bbl of oil per day with 8lO pounds casing pressure. Prior to the workover, the well was producing approximately 50 mcf of gas per day and 2 bbl of oil per day. MCGR is an independent exploration and production company with interests in about 100 wells in Texas and Oklahoma, operating about 40 of these wells. Formed in 1992 by merger, MCGR is located in the Dallas area. Its president is James P. McGowen.
