Place countries and regions on an arrow of time. The oldest of them had done their Japan thing (although for a more long time) in Mesospotamia, Egypt, Iran, Mongolia. 500 years ago when Columbus discovered Central America, the civilizations there were behing Japan, not because they were stupid. They were behind because they were on an early stage on that arrow of time. The native indians in Brazil were in the polished stone age. They had no reached the Bronze age. Why they had all that Brazil and could no do a Babylonia, you may be asking. Don't worry. I already said Japan will be back to the insignificance it came from. People or no people. It is the the set of circumstances that rules mankind. If a people is clever enough to make do with what the set of circumstances present to them, (and they always do), they skyrocket. I know, it is just human to pat ones own back and fell special like MQ does with his Victorian Values. Or the Asian vlues we heard on the 90s. I am realxed here because I believe on the rule of the set of circumstances that people grab and use to advance themselves. It is written. Right here between my two years.

"When does the transition from asset to liability happen?" When the generations who live off the fruits of the set of circumstances forget howe they got where they are. Today´s US is case in point. Those guys do not know what took to get where they are and had already screwed that thing up beyond repair. There are certainly people that swear that is a capitaliost country! But they slowly and steadily created a nanny state and are now complaining about socialism. They have forgotten that that construction is a creation of Robber Barons who arrested all science and capital and created a colossus.
