So very true. I've been retired over 6 years and remain as busy as I want to be. Not too busy and very little "boring" time. I can relate to Josh, having been laid off many years ago. In my case I didn't like my job and was becoming aware of the fact that the company's owner was a lying, stealing, tax evading crook. I didn't have a job lined up, but was very quickly offered a sales management position with a fairly new company that I had originally helped get started. That lasted 13 years and my eventual retirement.

Best of luck to Josh for a similar story...
