I was a former Mac fanatic, but ended up programming for both. For a lot of years, I had both on my desk, for a while I had a Mac with a PC on a card IN it, but finally went to just a PC. They are far more alike than different.

Eventually, you'll come to LOVE that right mouse button! I think Macs are safer from malware and slightly easier to use. But, there are far more applications available for the PC's, especially games.

I don't know what OS you've got on your PC, but I've heard their latest (Windows 7) is the best ever. Vista was an overly-protective loser that was always getting in your way.
