Seems our resident expert Mr. Swift is rather
quiet lately. Maybe getting more instructions
from his mentor Mr. Johnson.

Philip:

I have no idea. It could, but I don't think they can put it together that fast. Since it has to be assumed that Placer will exercise their option for 51% of the Aldebaran property, will the value be based on AZS 51% ownership in Aldebaran or 25.5%? Bema will have to put together an independent negotiating team to represent Star in any merger talks or they will have all kinds of potential legal problems. That will take some time to do.

Also, I think Placer is gonna find a lot more gold on Aldebaran (Placer certainly thinks so) so I'm not so sure its in the best interests of AZS stockholders to do a quick merger. AZS could easily be pushed up by new discoveries on Aldebaran.
