I'm not as panicked. I hear reports on deaths, but there have always been deaths by flu, how do we stack up this year compared with other years? I'll have to see do a web search to see if that data exists.

My son had swine flu about 3 weeks ago, or so they said. They tested him for Type "A" flu and it came back as positive, so they categorize it as swine flu even though it was not specifically tested for (how's that for tweeking the data?). I heard that test is more costly. The flu turned out relatively mild for him.
