That works out to $181,538 per job "created or saved." And it hasn't even been 12 months yet. All this paid for with trillion dollar bills printed with Obama's portrait on it. Should have had Bush's portrait... he was the cause. You are not just paying someone, you are doing projects which have economic benefits. They obviously have costs beyond wages for employees. Unless of course you want to just send money to people and not create anything? In addition there is the multiplier effect; these people spend money that wouldn't have been spent at businesses that employ other people... who spend.... Bottom line is that this shouldn't have been necessary. But it was.

That's because of the extremely indirect way the current political correctness forces Obama to create jobs. If he started a CCC or a WPA to EFFICIENTLY get that money into the hands of workers instead of parceling it out to localities, can you HEAR the howls of "socialism" and "make work" from the clowns on the right? But if he started a WAR with some tin pot dictator and hired 500,000 government make-worker/troops - the right would think it was GRAND! Lets invade Grenada again!
