This is the logical equivalent of McDonalds borrowing money and giving it to people to go to their local McDonalds and buy french fries with.

You get increased profits from sales and an offsetting decrease in shareholders' equity, increased interest expense, and ultimately, dilution (inflation).


It was a temporary measure to counteract the economic chaos that threatened to engulf the country....and the world. It was temporary act, not permanent.

The arithmetic simply does not work. Never has, never will.

That's because you don't want to understand it.
