Looks like this anaylyst seems the DRAM demand strong but with
pricing pressure. Good for AMAT.

RESEARCH ALERT - Texas Instruments raised

NEW YORK, Oct 31 (Reuters) - Gruntal & Co said on Friday it raised its rating on shares of
Texas Instruments Inc to strong buy from buy.

yst Mona Eraiba said company continues to see strong demand for its DSP products.
Dynamic random access memory continues to be strong, although prices remain weak.
Turmoil in Asia markets likely to be a net positive for the company long-term, as
manufacturing cost benefits increase with strong dollar.
Raised 1997 earnings estimate to $4.10 per share from $4.02 per share.

tito i have respect for your committment. your passion helped me keep amat on the last charge from 80-100 and you information and viewpoint is always appreciated. i consider you an extreme bull because you tend to see the positives. this is in no way a critism of you as your view are always considered and soundly based. it is a reflection only of how i measure opinion on this thread in relation to my more short term objectives. I plan to email u over the weekend because there are similarities between your experience and my experience that might interest you.
