Looking at the VA results I see McDonnell's support was very wide spread, he won an overwhelming percentage of the counties and cities in VA. The whole state looks red. (Which BTW I don't think is a good color for the Republicans, but I guess its not going to change any time soon).

He even won Fairfax County which had generally been leaning towards Democrats (at least on the national level, not sure about state) recently. Even my tenant, who is a huge Obama fan voted for McDonnell (and Bolling but not Cucinelli). Maybe I've been rubbing off on her a bit, she's changed from being a liberal to a moderate in recent years and is willing to vote for Republicans now.
